Certified Injury Prevention Instructor (CIPI) Program
Qualified manual therapists can train to become Certified Injury Prevention Instructors (CIPI) and teach the Save Your Hands!® Workshop curriculum to massage therapy and bodywork professionals and students. With the best known name in injury prevention for manual therapists behind you, you'll be able to help massage therapy students and practitioners protect themselves from injury while obtaining a valuable credential and creating a new source of income for yourself.

As a CIPI, you can teach self-care, body mechanics, injury prevention and ergonomics as part of a school curriculum or school continuing education program, at conferences, at local spas, clinics or hospitals, or by setting up independent workshops in your region. Once you’re a CIPI, we’ll give you all the marketing support and resources you need for maximum success.

The 56 CE CIPI program is taken mostly online, with our innovative E-Learning courses.  In a fun, interactive environment combining video, activities and reading assignments, you'll gain in-depth knowledge of ergonomics concepts to get the background you need to effectively teach this important subject to your fellow therapists. Interact with other students via social media, hold discussions and support each other as you learn. The last step in the training program consists of a three day Live Workshop, led by the owner of Save Your Hands!, Becky SanGregorio LMT, ACIPI.  Go to the CIPI page for full information

Save Your Hands!® Workshops

Earn 3, 6, or 8 CEs as you learn hands-on, practical techniques and tips to reduce fatigue and discomfort, prevent musculoskeletal injury, and extend your career. Attendees learn to reduce the physical demands of their work on their own bodies while still providing a thorough hands-on treatment to their clients. These innovative workshops are available for professionals and students.

Combining lecture and discussion with fun, innovative activities and plenty of hands-on practice, the workshops are taught in an informal style that encourages active participation. Attendees come away from the workshop with an excellent overview of ergonomics and injury prevention principles, and a self-care action plan including changes they will make to their practice based on what they have learned.

Save Your Hands!® Workshops are taught by our highly-trained Certified Injury Prevention Instructors (CIPIs) throughout the U.S. (and soon also in Canada and Europe). You can find a CIPI in your area to teach a workshop at your clinic, spa, association, etc., or check our Event Calendar for a workshop near you.
